I grew up moving back and forth between small rural towns and big cities all over Mexico enjoying a family of 60 plus cousins. I’m fascinated by the relationships between the “small” and the “big” like mushrooms, forests, microbes, humans, insects, and trees.

I'm Antonella and my dreams are coming true! I like well-made espresso, playing with my doggy, and pseudo-naps in the sun. I love exploring the complexity of identities and group dynamics in loving community and practicing asking for help as I practice trust and vulnerability.

Hi! My name is Karina and I was born and raised in Watsonville. I am super grateful to my parents who really raised me and my sister to appreciate spending time outdoors and taking up space there.

I love all things biology and sci-fi related, hiking, gardening, and reading and painting under the sun.

I have a huge passion for blending science with indigenous wisdom and intersecting environmental justice with social justice. And I drink at least one matcha latte every day, I’m obsessed!
